At Broadway Open Stage Studio (BOSS), we nurture exceptional performers through play, progress, and community. Our holistic approach goes beyond traditional arts education, allowing students to learn through play, celebrate their progress, and thrive on stage, building character, as both artists and individuals in our supportive studio community.
We are located in Destrehan, Louisiana in St. Charles Parish and offer classes and lessons in music, theatre, dance, and tumble for students ages 18 months and up.
If you're looking for a positive and supportive, diverse, multi-disciplinary performing arts studio, BOSS is the place for you!

My name is Brittany Leigh Holtsclaw and I have always had passion for the performing arts. Born and raised here in Destrehan, Louisiana, my entire life has centered around the arts. My beginnings as a young Talented Theatre student in St. Charles Parish ultimately led me to study and graduate in Drama/Acting at New York University and perform on both stages and the screen in NYC and New Orleans.
My arts background has turned me into the proud woman I am today, and sharing the benefits the arts offer to young performers has become a personal mission. To me, the arts are an outlet for creativity and confidence building, and teach valuable life lessons about perseverance, self-awareness, and community.
Our studio focuses on developing a performer’s skills by offering music, theatre, dance, and tumbling programs, but we’re so much more than that. Our teachers are passionate professionals who all share a deep love for the arts we share with our students.
We are not the average studio… like our students, we are unique, passionate, persistent, and dramatic. We are movers and shakers, and definite noisemakers! We love what we do and look forward to continued work with the youth in our local community.
#SKILLSBEYONDTHESTAGE

Through progress, play, performance, and connection in our studio community, we reinforce positive values and foster personal character development in our students that serve them far beyond the stage.
CONTINUOUS PROGRESS
With our focus on continuous growth, we help students set, achieve, and celebrate their achievements, nurturing life skills such as resilience, determination, and a strong work ethic throughout their journey at our studio.
CREATIVE PLAY
Through our emphasis on the importance of play and creativity in the learning process, we encourage students to explore, experiment, and have fun while developing their performing arts skills.
PERFORMANCE
The stage becomes a canvas where students showcase their talents and apply their skills. Through performance, they develop self-assurance, adaptability, and a deep sense of accomplishment, shaping their character.
COMMUNITY CONNECTION
This category underscores the studio's commitment to fostering a compassionate and inclusive community, where students and families come together to support one another, engage in outreach projects, and make a positive impact on the broader community through their artistic endeavors.

This studio is a perfect fit for my daughter. The staff is friendly and caring. My daughter feels welcomed everytime she attends a class, and looks forward to going back the next week. We are so lucky to be a part of the BOSS family.

I can’t rave enough about BOSS. This studio welcomes students of all abilities with open arms. They offer such a wonderful variety of classes with an emphasis on the arts. Having a space so close to home that gives our children the freedom of expression and growth is life changing. My daughter looks forward to going to her classes each week at BOSS and has learned so much over the past year. 10/10 highly recommend!
